Whether due to domestic violence, early abandonment, chronic illness, infertility or unplanned pregnancy, marriage or divorce, or changes in career and direction, challenges big and small often present an opportunity to fine tune your life and heal. Let's work together to tackle your challenges so that you are able to become a happier, healthier you!
Reflection & Inquiry for Mind/Body/Spirit: What moves you? What do you dream of doing or becoming? What gets in the way of those dreams? Through mindfulness, meditation and gentle yoga movement, we will explore ways in which you can increase self-awareness, self-compassion and self-love. More and more evidence is demonstrating the positive effects of a regular mindfulness practice to bring all elements of the self into balance. Private sessions are designed to meet your needs. Let's work together to create a practice to help you attain your dreams of success.
Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga for Women 18 and up: Through yoga we can experiment with breathing, moving, strengthening, stretching, and resting to help develop a sense of autonomy, control and connection, and to safely experience a "felt sense" of your body. No experience is necessary, this practice is easily accessible for all abilities, all shapes, sizes and levels of flexibility. The focus is on choice, sensation, and a shared authentic experience. Private lessons available; classes are limited to 10 women. Call or text 585.507.7588 for schedule updates.
Adoption & Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART): As a licensed social worker, I can help guide your decision-making in building your family through adoption from "how do I start" to completing a home study. With nearly 30 years of personal and professional experience in adoption and foster care, I will hold your hand as you explore the options, become knowledgeable of the core issues of adoption or ART, and choose the path that is right for you.
